One way to be present is to reduce regrets about the past and minimise worries about the future. We regret the past. We worry about the future. Worry and regret stop us from being present. More energy in the present means less stress and better health. What do we need to do to reduce regrets? What do we need to do to minimise our worries and concerns about the future?
If we don’t want all of our yesterdays to take up our time, energy, space or money today, then we need to identify ways to come to terms with the past. We can create our future and self manage our destiny by accepting what we can’t change and changing what we can.
